5 – Elementary Level, passed test on controls, Minimum of Ten hours in simulator

4 – Passed Test Extensive test on all procedures. Minimum thirty hours in simulator, at least one landing and takeoff solo in space for Bravo class, tested on traffic controls procedures in Charlie Class and above.

3 – Passed advanced test on controls, minimum of sixty hours in simulator, solo landings both atmosphere and shipboard, for Charlie class and higher passed test on controlling traffic procedures both standard and emergency. For Bravo Class ship and higher at least ten simulated hyperspace jumps.

2 – One hundred hours in simulator, two actual hyperspace jumps for Bravo class and higher, fifty hours at actual controls.

1 – One hundred hours behind controls, ship to ship docking completed.

Description: In the Rescue configuration also affectionately known as a Sled. It has the capability of maintaining life support for up to six personnel either in a functioning suit or partially damaged environment suites. In addition to the six personnel hooked up to the Sleds life support the sled has four towing points. Fully loaded the Sled can operate for 30 minutes.

Background: From Florida, small town 1962, father was a shopkeeper when sober, inherited business from his father but Phillip’s Mom really ran the business, Phillip doesn’t drink but does gamble and is trying to juggle two girls at once, Barb a same rank peer on a Rescue Runner and Melissa a Medical tech on an ambulance crew from the Squadron Command ship. Short and powerfully built, red hair.

Background: Immigrant to Brooklyn when he was five, wanted to be a fightfighter but was turned down due to flat feet, was a shopkeeper, taken from 1929, loves to talk boxing w/Clark, younger brother became Golden Gloves in 1930. In charge of all medical decisions on Free Lunch. Decides level of treatments of each patient based on resources of Auto-docs. Wears Brooklyn Dodgers hat whenever he can. Plays catch with whoever will. “old man” of the crew at twenty-five
